We are fortunate to live in one of the most naturally beautiful parts of this amazing country and with our rich heritage and culture complimented by a very warm welcome, we attract visitors from around the world. Our local economy relies on this tourism as well as agriculture and many of our businesses are small and family run. We have pledged to help protect this for all and by deciding to come and stay, you will be taking the first step in helping us conserve these natural and cultural assets. The second important way that you can help us is by embracing some of our energy saving ideas during your stay.
We joined the Green Tourism Business Scheme and were awarded a Silver Award in 2018 and were delighted with the support they have given us to continue to go forward and improve on our work.

PARK AND STRIDE
There are lots of opportunities to see the area by bus, on foot or by canoe? You could even leave the car at home and use our local public transport network to make your way to Blairgowrie
SHOP LOCAL
Many of the local businesses are family run & rely on the talents of their owners. From making kilts to honey and gin! Look out for “Green Tourism” members too, please support them.
The 4 Rs
RELAX, you probably won’t even realise how much you will recycle, reduce and reuse on holiday here. We supply some “Bags for Life” for you to REUSE during your stay. Shopping at our excellent local butchers and delis can REDUCE on food packaging. We hope that you will find our recycling area easy to use.
BACK TO NATURE
We all love to explore the countryside and enjoy nature. At the lodges we try to give “Nature a Home”, we leave areas around the grounds to grow wild, we have nesting boxes and feeders for the birds and red squirrels.
