The lodges are surrounded by a variety of beautiful trees. Autumn see’s Perthshire at it’s most colourful, Big Tree Country, is truly spectacular, with over 200,000 acres of forests, among them the tallest hedge in the world and the UK’s oldest tree

Summer brings a feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds. It’s Highland Game season, Scottish pipes, drums, dancers and sports. A Plentiful harvest of the UK’s best soft fruits, raspberries, strawberries and cherries.

Visit the Bluebell Wood in Blairgowrie and enjoy this wondrous site in May. It’s also a great time for exploring the many different golf courses that surround the town as well as the Home of Golf, St Andrews, only around an hour away.

Scottish skiing is excellent and a stay in Blairgowrie, with a short drive to Glenshee, offers great value for money.
